'Festival of Gingerbread' A Sweet Treat For Many

Tonight also marked the opening of another holiday tradition, Fort Wayne's ‘Festival of Gingerbread.

 

Over 100 gingerbread creations have filled The History Center.

 People have been taking part for the past 25-years. To celebrate the festival had a new 'silver category' this year. For many the event is a must-do.

 

"Well if we don't, I’ll freak out and run around the house and scream. My favorite is coming here and looking at all the tempting food. I almost took a bite out of a house” says Skyler Stetler

 

     The festival runs from this Friday to December 12. It costs $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students. all proceeds support The History Center.
