'Festival of Gingerbread' A Sweet Treat For Many

Tonight also marked the opening of another holiday tradition, Fort Wayne's �Festival of Gingerbread.

Over 100 gingerbread creations have filled The History Center.

People have been taking part for the past 25-years. To celebrate the festival had a new 'silver category' this year. For many the event is a must-do.

"Well if we don't, I�ll freak out and run around the house and scream. My favorite is coming here and looking at all the tempting food. I almost took a bite out of a house� says Skyler Stetler

The festival runs from this Friday to December 12. It costs $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students. all proceeds support The History Center.
