A record number turned out for the 8th Annual Galloping Gobbler 4-Miler.
Around 2400, about twice as many as last year, took part.
It's one of the 30 largest 4-milers in the country and it's the second largest running event in Northeast Indiana.
The race began at the University of Saint Francis. Participants headed down to Lindenwood Cemetery before ending back at St. Francis.
Some folks got into the thanksgiving spirit by dressing up like turkeys and pilgrims. All finishers received chocolate milk and the first 180 received a loaf of pumpkin bread.
