Some major stores are encouraging online sales with free shipping if you spend a certain amount.
And stores are already looking ahead to Cyber Monday by offering online coupons. Still, plenty of deal seekers who'd rather be in the stores.
The National Retail Federation says 138 million people shopped Friday, that up from last year.
They also expect people to spend more on cyber Monday due to increased store promotions.
