Police officers deal with shootings all the time, but rarely do the shootings occur in their own backyard.

"It kinda does scare people” says Rodney Mocherman, manager of Myro's Pizza in Bryan, Ohio.

Mocherman works just a few doors down from where a shooting occurred last night. But the shooting didn't happen just anywhere. It happened at the Bryan Police Department.

"It's pretty scary around this part. I mean it's Bryan. It's a small town” says Mocherman.

Just before midnight police say Rudy Relue began shooting at the building. Bullet holes penetrated the front door hitting another door inside. Shots were also fired at the side of the building. Reports say Relue also shot a parked patrol car. He then drove away.

Officers found Relue in a car at just down the road. Relue got out and began firing at police. An officer shot back. Relue was injured and taken to a hospital.

His condition isn't available.

"I guess it's not really a dangerous town or anything, but now it's getting that way” says Mocherman.

No officers were hurt and charges are still pending.

Police still aren't sure of Relue's motive.
