Wayne H.S. Principal Removed

Wayne High School principal Thomas Smith has been removed. FWCS will not comment on why he is no longer principal.
In a letter sent home to parents, FWCS says Smith will continue to work for FWCS even though he is no longer principal. Anthis Career Center principal Larry Gerardot will be Smith's temporary replacement. The letter did reference maintaining academic success in accordance with Wayne's status as one of 11 LEAD schools.
Smith was the seventh highest paid employee in FWCS in 2009 with a salary of approximately $110K.
Smith could not be reached for comment.
