Two Police Officers Wounded at Ball State Shooting

A suspect has been shot and killed.
Officers were serving a warrant when a gunman opened fire.
The two officers were struck.
Officers returned fire and hit the gunman multiple times.
Officer Brent Brown, a 10-year veteran, was hit in the shoulder and his bulletproof vest stopped a round to his chest.
Officer Steve Baugh was shot in the face.
He was taken to Ball Memorial hospital in stable condition.
The suspect has died.
Police have not released his name.
University officials issued a campus public safety notice, but say there was no immediate threat to the university.
