General Admission tickets when on sale Tuesday for the TinCaps 2012 season. Some people waited in the cold and snow for up to three hours to get their tickets.
The team gave out free breakfast to all fans that came out and braved the cold.=. Mike Limmer, the V.P. of Marketing for the TinCaps, said "We knew the weather might be a little questionable so we opened at 8:00am with tickets on sale and then gave fans free breakfast for coming out and supporting the team."
So far TinCaps officials say ticket sales are up from last year. Limmer said "We've always had a good response. We sold out the last three opening days, so this has always."
Opening day is Thursday April 5th. The game will be followed by fireworks.
