Could Mourdock Gain from Santorum?

On Monday, The Pennsylvania Senator dropped out of the GOP Presidential primary. Now, some experts think Santorum's loss could play to Mourdock's benefit.
Mourdock is running for Senate Against Longtime Senator Richard Lugar. Some experts say as the Presidential nominee becomes more certain, voters would favor Lugar might stay home.
"The people who are a little less enthusiastic about voting are people who would ahv ebeen drawn in by this exciting Presidential race, and they're probably more inclined to be moderate," says Andy Downs of the Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics.
The latest Howey-Depaw poll shows Senator Lugar 42 percent to 35 percent against Treasurer Mourdock.
