Business was booming around lunchtime at the Jefferson Pointe Chick-fil-a today, the drive-thru line out of the parking lot and the some people parking on the fire lane and walking from far away to get to the restaurant.  By the looks of things, folks in Fort Wayne don't have any hard feelings toward Chick-fil-a.

That attitude is different from other cities in the country.  Chicago and Boston have said that Chick-fil-a is not welcome in their towns after its president, Dan Cathy, made it clear he believes marriage should only be between a man and a woman.

There have been no protests up to this point at the Jefferson Pointe Chick-fil-a but some gay rights advocates are organizing a national kiss-in to protest Chick-fil-a.

Some Hoosiers say they aren't going strop eating at the restaurant over the recent controversy.  How Chick-fil-a is perceived by the public may hurt their business but it also may influence others to eat more chicken.
