A local mom may be facing charges after she was pulled over in a box truck with four kids hanging off the sides.

Police pulled the truck over this afternoon near the corner of Thompson and Taylor Streets, just south of Downtown Fort Wayne.

A Fort Wayne Police Officer spotted the truck driving with four children hanging from the outside.

Witnesses say one boy was on top of the box truck, which was at least 18' high. The other three were holding on from the rear bumper and door mirrors, witnesses say.

The driver of the truck was taken to police headquarters for questioning, but later released. Police say the Allen County Prosecutor may file charges in the coming days. The Department of Child Services may also launch its own investigation.
