Members of a local Sikh temple are mourning the loss of six people killed in last weekend's massacre in Wisconsin.

Today, members of the Fort Wayne Sikh Temple in Roanoke told WFFT they were shocked to hear the news. On Sunday, Wade Michael Page stormed into the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin and opened fire with a handgun. He was later fatally shot by police.

"We had just left the service and we went home and turned on the TV to hear the news. I was just so saddened, I thought, 'what if this happened at our temple?'" Said Kim Rai, a member of the Roanoke Temple.

Investigators are not yet sure what led up to the shooting, but say Page was a known white supremacist, had ties to neo-nazi groups and was the leader of a neo-nazi rock band.

The Fort Wayne Sikh Temple will be holding a vigil Sunday evening to mourn those lost. The vigil starts at 7 o'clock at 11431 Lower Huntington Road in Roanoke.
