Luers Names Steve Keefer Head Football Coach

Fort Wayne, IN - Steve Keefer will take over as Head Football Coach at Bishop Luers for the remainder of the season after the firing of Matt Lindsay.

Press Release From School:
Bishop Luers High School announced today that Steven Keefer will coach the Knights for the remainder of this football season.  An athletic director has not yet been appointed.  Today's practice, Monday, September 17, 2012, is closed.  Coach Keefer will address the media/press after practice at 5:00 or 5:15 P.M.

Peoria, IL - Peoria Chiefs pitcher Tyrell Jenkins needed no help Sunday afternoon, limiting the Fort Wayne TinCaps to only three hits, as he pitched a complete game shutout, leading his team to a 1-0 win. The scoreless defeat marked the first time in 2013 that the TinCaps have been shut out.
