Robber Busted after 12 Mile Chase

A Fort Wayne man is in custody after police say he robbed a local pharmacy. Around eight o'clock Tuesday morning, police say Brandon Peters walked into the CVS on St. Joe Center Road and pulled a gun on an employee.
Police say Peters demanded a quantity of the prescription painkiller 'Opana.' Police were called shortly after, and an off-duty officer spotted peters in his pickup truck.
Peters was arrested after a pursuit that lasted 12 miles through Northeast Fort Wayne and rural parts of Allen County. Police say he continued driving a considerable distance, even after they deployed 'stop sticks' to deflate his tires.
Nobody was injured during the robbery or the pursuit that followed.
