Two weeks after the firing of Bishop Luers High School's head coach Matt Lindsay, the Catholic Diocese is releasing new information about the ordeal.

On Thursday, a spokesman released a fact sheet with questions answers about what led to Lindsay's firing.

-"How many people viewed the material on Lindsay's computer? Were any of the videos taken on school grounds?"

According to a spokesman rom the diocese, a Luers employee discovered inappropriate images while doing technical work on a computer that Lindsay brought to school. That employee then contact the principal of Bishop Luers who then contacted legal counsel for the Diocese.

The Diocese says some of those images appeared to have been taken of students on school grounds.

-"Why did the diocese go to the Sheriff's Department and not the Fort Wayne Police Department"

According to Thursday's statement, their legal counsel wanted to speak with a specific detective that he had dealt with in the past. Because that detective was contacted after business hours on a Friday, officials were unable to meet with the department until the following Tuesday when he was back on duty.

WFFT asked a spokesman on Wednesday why the Diocese did not push police to get involved more quickly. He told us based on the videos found and the fact that Lindsay had been removed form the building, there was "no critical need to make an emergency call."

This week, the Allen County Sheriff's department continued its investigation of the videos found this month. On Wednesday, officers served a search warrant at Lindsay's home and removed several bags of evidence.
