The "Workhorse Tour" covers 72 towns in 8 days. The candidates got off the bus in Decatur to talk to a restaurant full of folks. They've been doing it all week and the candidates say they aren't tired yet.
Gubernatorial candidate John Gregg's aim is to convince Hoosiers to look past the party labels and show why he's a strong contender against Mike Pence. The goal for his would-be lieutenant governor, Vi Simpson, is to introduce everyone to who she is. U.S. Senate Candidate Joe Donnelly greeted restaurant patrons with smiles and handshakes. Instead of being tired out by the workhorse tour, he says the voters have energi zed him.
Donnelly says he is using the tour the talk about the economy. His told opponent candidate Richard Mourdock told WFFT that he is also focusing on the economy and moving passed the controversial comment he made at the debate, that said pregnancies resulting from rape were intended by God.
