A registered sex offender in DeKalb county  was arrested and charged with child molestation.

WFFT visited Aaron Graham's Waterloo, IN home  and spoke with several of his neighbors who were surprised to learn about Graham's troubling past.

"It did make me a little bit nervous knowing he was down there having a young daughter here," said Jill Griebel, a concerned neighbor.

Aaron Graham is a repeat sex offender.  He is already registered as a sex offender stemming from child molestation charges in Georgia  back in 1988. Graham was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of child molestation.

Jill Griebel lives next to Graham and says she was startled after hearing about her neighbor.

"I didn't know he was going to still be doing those things which makes me a little bit nervous," said Griebel.

Court documents say Graham touched the victim inappropriately on several occasions during the summer of 2011.

Detective Adam Friedel, a detective with the DeKalb County Sheriffs Department, says if convicted Graham could be facing additional sentencing as a repeat sex offender.

"He was charged with two class A felonies the presumptive sentence on each felony is 30 years he's also enhancement for being a repeat sexual offender," said Friedel.

"I would like to not see him come back. I don't think he needs to be around kids in the area, said Rick Straley, a concerned neighbor.

"It makes me a little nervous that he is still doing those thing and that he was living so close.  I hope that wasn't going on this close to us but it probably was," said Griebel.
