Allison Stier is continuing to fight an uphill battle with an aggressive form of inflammatory stage 4 breast cancer. Allison was diagnosed two months ago. Since then, family and friends have been putting on fundraisers in her honor. The General Credit Unions have turned their lobbies into stores. They are auctioning gift baskets and colts tickets on eBay, selling cookbooks and hang tags, all to raise some money.
Allison and her husband Gerrett showed up here to the General Credit Union to open up an account for their fundraising monies. After an employee found out what the fundraiser was for, they told another co-worker who told another co-worker. Before long, the whole company was on board to help Allison in her fight.
One of the locations will even wrap your Christmas gifts for you, for a donation. General Credit Unions are going to raise money for Allison through next year.
