High Speed Chase Leads to Crash, Injuries

A high-speed chase came to a dramatic ending in DeKalb County -- a Fort Wayne man leading police through rural county roads Saturday night.

Police say 35-year-old Jeremy Adang of Fort Wayne. Just after Midnight, DeKalb county police tried to pull him over for drunk driving on I-69.

Adang sped away and pulled off the highway down a gravel stretch of County Road 31 -- speeds topping 70 miles per hour.

He then lost control and plowed right into a driveway, hitting two parked cars. WFFT wpoke with the homeowner who was there when it happend.

Adang was thrown from his car about 50 feet. He was flown to Parkview Hospital with head injuries, a fractured neck and back. Criminal charges are pending.
