Boys Playing with Lighter Causes House Fire

The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire at 8 a.m. this morning on the 1300 block of High St.
Neighbors told WFFT they saw firefighters throw a burnt mattress out of the upper window of the house.
Two boys, ages 8 and 12 were home alone at the time of the fire. No one was injured.
According to investivators, one of the boys lit the bed on fire when he was playing with a lighter. When they arrived on the scene they found a bed on fire.
