Made in America Tour

Workers and labor leaders are traveling by bus across several states highlighting the struggling auto industry and the jobs tied to it.
On Tuesday, that campaign made a stop in Fort Wayne.
Organizers say 7.2 million jobs are tied to the auto industry in supply and manufacturing. They say they’re taking their message to Washington, stopping in 11 states and 34 cities on the way.
But when many foreign goods come cheaper, trying to convince consumers to buy American could be a tough sell.
The bus tour will end in Washington, D.C. On May 19th, the group will hold a Teach-In. Organizers say they've invited every lawmaker to attend. To learn more about the tour and read the group's plan, visit www.madeinamericatour.org.
