As the county gets ready for the American Idol finale this week, some local folks talked about the final two candidates vying for the big prize.

“I really think Adam's going to win because he can really hit those high notes and he does it with such ease.  The other guy is pretty good, but he just has the guitar too much.  I think Adam's going to win, he has a lot more talent,” said Jeremy Jones.

“Adam is not an American Idol.  He's good at what he does, and that's what he should do; that's be in the theater.  But he is not an American Idol,” said Dirk Bradley.

“I'd go with Adam Lambert.  He's pretty impressive, everything he's done, changing up classic songs and making them his own.  He's definitely got the background and the skills to do it,” said Denny Sorg.
