breaking news
It was a sight never seen before…the first King Tut Race Car, and it made an appearance at the Fort Wayne Boys and Girls Club Wednesday.
The reason for this event was to introduce the King Tut Exhibition that will be opening at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis June 27 to October 25.
The children at the Boys and Girls Club were given a speak peak of King Tut’s new ride before it hits the tracks this weekend at the Indi 500 Race.
Boys and Girls club member Joey Stanford says “I’m really excited, because I have never seen the race car of King Tut.”
But the reason for this event wasn’t just to show off the race car. The exhibition is giving 98,000 free tickets to children across the state of Indiana.
The children at the Fort Wayne’s Boys and Girls club were just some of the students receiving these free tickets.
Marketing Manager of Arts and Exhibitions International says: “These tickets are being provided by the Lilly Endowment Fund.”
If you are a Teacher, Principal or student organization overseer and would like to get free tickets for your class, go to ChildrensMuseum.org and click on Tutankhamun Field Trips to register your trip.
