There are many factors that come into play such as year, make, model, price, interest rates, dealer reputation, etc. These are all important things to consider, but I feel they are not nearly as important as a pre-purchase inspection performed by a highly trained and well-qualified mechanic. A Carfax or Autocheck might tell you if a vehicle has been wrecked, but it won't tell you that the brake pads are dangerously worn or that the suspension is unsafe. A pre-purchase inspection will uncover all of these things and much more. It is the most simple and inexpensive way to ensure the condition of the vehicle and the safety of your family.
