Fort Wayne Police are searching for the shooter who gunned down a teen on the Southeast Side early Monday morning.

Police were called to the corner of Emily and Smith street around two o'lock Monday morning after a passerby found a man lying in an empty lot. Nathaniel Rainer, 18, of Fort Wayne was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they do not have enough information to release a description or identify a suspect, but two neighbors told WFFT they saw a grey van speeding away from the scene after the shooting.

"I was scared for my own life and my neighborhood," said one neighbor who did not want to be identified.

This shooting is Allen County's fourth homicide for 2013.
