IPFW Hosts Free Financial Aid Event

Fort Wayne, Ind. (WFFT) - Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne held an event this afternoon to help college bound students and their families file for financial aid.
The event called College Goal Sunday is a charitable grogram of the Indiana Student Financial Aid Association (ISFAA).
Financial aid volunteers assisted Indiana students from 2-4pm filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The FAFSA is required for students to be considered for federal and state grants, loans and scholarships at most colleges and universities antionwide. The deadline to fill out the FAFSA is March 10, 2013.
IPFW also offers a Common Scholarship Application, one application for all scholarships offered by the University. The deadline for the Common Scholarship Application was February 1st.
