Freezing conditions early Tuesday morning created a thick coating of ice across power lines and tree limbs in Northeast Indiana.
By the afternoon, much of the ice had melted, but more rain and falling temperatures could mean dangerous conditions by Wednesday morning. INDOT officials say they are prepared to dispatch all of their crews to salt and plow roads as necessary.
As of Tuesday night, no power outages associated with the storm had been reported to I&M Power in Northeast Indiana.
