The FBI sweeping drug investigation has spread to other affluent Fort Wayne neighborhoods.

As WFFT reported yesterday, former professional football player Jason Fabini's property was searched, as was the luxurious home of his brother Michael.

Today, agents raided three more homes, including one in the Aboite section of town.

"I feel like I know my neighbors somewhat but all the new people that have moved in and out it makes you feel very shocked and surprised," said Kristy Bloom, a concerned neighbor.

Kristy bloom got a big surprise this afternoon as the FBI raided her neighbor's home in Aboite Township.

"These people were very nice and they have a new baby i would have never expected that," said Bloom.

Yesterday Michael Fabini's home was just one of several FBI searches throughout Fort Wayne. Jason Fabini, Michaels brother and  former professional football player also had his property searched.  The FBI has confirmed that at least four of the 10 raids are connected. While it's unknown if all of the raids are related some neighbors in Aboite Township have drawn their own conclusions.

"I immediately thought of yesterday's news  and immediately thought it probably had something to do with it," said Bloom.

The Allen county Assessors office confirmed that Fabini has added several additions to his home.  Michael Fabini bought this Cherry Hill  home back in 2009 for $270,000  but has nearly tripled the size of it, shooting the estimated value up  near 700,000.    The raids, which have mostly happened in quiet and affluent neighborhoods, have some residents worried.

"I don't want to live in a neighborhood with drug dealers and I certainly hope that this is going to get resolved," said Barb Cole, a concerned neighbor.

"After the whole Cherry Hill thing I think none of us are really safe," said Bloom.

The federal indictment is still sealed and the FBI says there could be a substantial amount of time until arrests are made.
