After hundreds of hospitalizations and seven deaths state-wide, it is expected that this flu season will only get worse. The oldest and youngest age groups are at most risk of catching the flu.

Health officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warn that the H3N2 strain of the flu virus tends to make people sicker than usual and appears to be predominant this season.
